My Furry Family!

As a TOTAL dog lover here, I will introduce you to my dogs (And my cat. I love her too).  Altogether, I have 4 pets! A German Shepherd (Jack), two chihuahuas (Lydia and Pebbles), and of course, my calico- tabby mix cat (Lottie)! At first, we only had Lottie and Pebbles, then, we got Lydia, and then Jack. When we first looked at Lydia, the lady who was in charge of telling us about her, told us that she was toy aggressive, food aggressive, and basically anything aggressive! Then she told us that in a big yard, an eagle could sweep down and grab her! I mean seriously! Since, we brought our dog Pebbles, who growled at Lydia the minute she saw her, we already knew that they might have a little problem. We were undeterred.
We were going to get Lydia (Actually, her pound name was Emmy) no matter what, and so, we did!
We got her that day!
She immediately took to my mom. In the car, I was so excited to play with her. Lydia was sitting on my mom's lap, who was the
driver, but it worked out. Yet, when we came home, Pebbles and Lydia went a little crazy. Lydia bit Pebbles' neck, and so we had to set up a doggy gate between the two. We were all a little nervous after that. Now, they only growl at each other when one of them walks next to the other while they're sleeping. Lydia also chases Lottie, sadly. Sometimes, when Lottie has had enough, she swipes her! Go kitty! Lydia has also bit us before when she sees a stranger that triggers a memory for her. She was in a puppy mill before we got her. Sad, right? Anyway, then we got Jack, and Pebbles is totally fine with him, but Lydia growls at him often. I understand though. I mean, if you were a tiny chihuahua, would you like walking next to a giant, who could crush you? Lottie seems to be pretty accepting of the new dogs that have come, even Lydia. We got Jack, for my dad's Birthday. Jack was from a guy who was in the military, so he went away a lot; Jack stayed with the guy's family until finally, his parents decided that it wasn't fair to Jack. So, one day, my mom saw Jack on FaceBook, and we got him. For my dad, it was a big shock. He didn't expect a dog for his Birthday. Altogether, I think our dogs and cat have fit pretty well together, and they are better behaved, now. I love my furry family!
